Kiernan Milling has been supplying Irish farmers with top quality animal feeds for over 40 years, and, as you might imagine, we’ve learned a thing or two along the way. We understand that our customers want the best quality ingredients in their feeds, that they want a nutritionally balanced diet to feed to their livestock, and that they deserve excellent advice and customer service to help them on their way.

Here in the mill, we have a dedicated quality assurance team monitoring every aspect of production, starting at the point of intake, following right through production, and working with the sales team to ensure our customers are getting the very best feeds for their needs.

We’re fully approved under the industry standard Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS) and meet all Irish and EU legal requirements to manufacture feed. We’re also a Bord Bia approved supplier of feed for Egg and Poultry producers. That’s one less thing to worry about!

Laboratory Analysis

Here at Kiernan Milling, we like to have information right at our fingertips. Our in-house NIR testing apparatus provides us with just that; instant information about the quality of our raw materials and finished feeds. Our experienced Quality Assurance team reviews the results as they are completed to ensure we can make the best quality feeds for our customer’s requirements.

We also work with a range of fully accredited laboratories for specialised investigations. Each year, we complete a rigorous testing schedule to ensure our feed is fully up to specifications.
